Founded in 1974, Brown Temple Church of God in Christ was the first African American Pentecostal church in Union City. It is located in the Decoto District. The church offers various services and programs, including a Bible band, weekly youth night, Sunday school and more. The current pastor is Jerome L. Brown, Sr.
