History
The Holder Family has been in the restaurant business since the 1950's, when Jack's Drive-Up opened in Medford, Oregon. Jack and Anne Holder moved to the Bay Area in the late 1950's, where they opened Uncle John's Pancake House and raised their six sons and one daughter. Today there are seven Holder Family restaurants operating in the Bay Area, including Gilroy's own Westside Grill. Brew City Burgers is based on the original 1950's Jack's Drive-Up and honors the legacy of Jack and Anne Holder.
