Boys & Girls Clubs of Sonoma Valley is a non-profit organization funded entirely by grants, private donations and local businesses. Serving over 500 children daily at five locations, this club provides the youth of Sonoma with an after school program that focuses on skill building, education, and working as a team. Children also gain other skills such as arts, computer science and athletics. In addition to the Maxwell Clubhouse, the Boys & Girls Club serves children afterschool at Altimira Middle School, Sassarini Elementary, Dunbar Elementary and Flowery Elementary Schools.
Its main clubhouse is located in Maxwell Farms Regional Park. The 22,000 sq foot building has a full sized gym, Intel Computer Clubhouse, art room, garden, music recording studio, kitchen and a large game room. The Boys & Girls Club is open to all children and adolescents aged 6 to 18 years old.
