History
The Bolsa Chica Conservancy was established by a coalition of government, community, business and environmental leaders for the purpose of preserving and promoting the Bolsa Chica Wetlands in Huntington Beach, CA. Over the last twenty-three years, the Bolsa Chica Conservancy has been a leader in providing science-based education and habitat restoration services that increases public awareness and understanding of coastal resources, watersheds and environmental conservation. It has served more than 425,000 people of all ages over the last two decades, and it continues to expand its reach through innovative programming and initiatives.

The Bolsa Chica Conservancy is a volunteer-driven organization dedicated to inspiring and connecting all generations through community involvement and hands-on education in coastal ecology, wetland science, watersheds and environmental conservation. The Conservancy currently operates its programs from a temporary modular facility on the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve in Huntington Beach, California.
