History
In business since 1982 ~ the new Bishop Music Instruction studio opened in January 2015. Owner/Instructor Jeff Bishop needed a location to teach his students after Guitar Trader, the Kearny Mesa music store where he had taught for over 30 years, closed its doors in December 2014. The lessons studio has become an active center for both private lessons and workshops, designed to further students' learning in a group environment.
Specialties
Quality private guitar lessons for students from beginning to advanced level. Electric and acoustic students of all ages are welcome. Lessons take place in a comfortable, professional teaching studio complete with a spacious waiting/warm up room. Electric bass and ukulele lessons are also offered.
