Berkeley Giclee was originally a photography studio established by Tony Molatore in 1997. It began digital printing in 2000. and in 2004 it committed the business to large format digital production and reproduction. Berkeley Giclee offers three different kinds of reproduction packages: 8 bit Portfolio Reproduction (the most cost effective); 16 bit Standard Reproduction with the Archive Edition, which offers enhanced file prep and color tests and is archived on the best CD media estimated to last over 100 years; and Certificate of Authenticity with a holographic serial number. Original artwork can be scanned here and printed on a variety of papers, including watercolor paper, photo rag paper and canvas.
