Benicia Middle School is the only middle school within the Benicia Unified School District. The students come from four area elementary schools. Benicia Middle School is a place where students can obtain an excellent education, develop meaningful relationships, participate in many new experiences, and express their talents. It is a large, suburban middle school with high expectations for all students. The entire staff is dedicated to providing an educational environment that promotes and reinforces a safe and orderly campus so that each student can attain his or her potential.
The campus was built in 1976 and occupies approximately 17 acres of land overlooking the Carquinez Strait. The site is well known to local athletes of all ages because many men's softball league games are played at the campus.
