I am a fully certified Pilates teacher from the PhysicalMind Institute, and a Yoga teacher graduate with YogaWorks (RYT200) and Yoga Tree San Francisco (RYT500) with a focus on alignment and therapeutics. I teach intelligent, alignment-based classes that will allow you to stay safe in your practice and help your mind find focus and more clarity. I will invite you to be aware of your breath and to be curious about what it feels like to live in your body. And we'll throw in a little dose of chaos for good measure! I know from personal experience that you never want to stop moving. Two spine surgeries brought me to Pilates and Yoga and have taught me what a gift it is to not only be able to breathe, but also to move, and to feel. I have experience working with individuals of various physical abilities, including students with such conditions as disc herniation, fusion and stenosis as well as hip and knee replacement, ACL surgery and frozen shoulder. I combine my knowledge of Pilates and Yoga to tailor private sessions to specific needs, using the Pilates equipment and props.
