History
Bang! Bang!Vintage opened in downtown Arcata in 2011 and became instantly popular! After five years of business downtown, we moved to the Historic Creamery Building in the up and coming art district of Arcata, just FOUR blocks off the plaza, where we now have historic clothing in a historic building and workspace for repurposing vintage into wearable art! The Creamery District is bustling with all things creative such as dance, theater, open studios, summer art festivals, music performances and Bang! Bang! fits right in!

As a kid, all I wanted to do was make art and music and then, I discovered vintage! Having spent a lifetime working as a display artist, starting with my first display at a church thrift store where my mom volunteered, I came to realize that clothing IS art! Also working in several vintage stores to support myself while pursuing my music and art ventures, I grew to not only love vintage for how well things were made back in the day, but also how creative designers of days gone by once were. Finally deciding that it was time I had my own vintage store, I opened Bang! Bang! Vintage in Arcata CA. I couldn't believe the response from the community! For more than five years people have, on a daily basis, told me that Bang! Bang! is, hands down, the best curated vintage store with the most reasonable prices they've ever had the pleasure to patronize. In 2016 I decided that it was time that I expanded to a space where I could also make art and repurpose those treasures that needed a little TLC as well as create an Etsy site so that my audience could expand to the world. With these things in mind, I moved my store to the historic Creamery District of Arcata CA where the arts are thriving and small businesses of the creative sort are rapidly developing. I am now working hard to run my brick and mortar store in the old Creamery Building itself (built in 1917, it's an historic building for historic clothing!) , but also working hard to present new and fabulous vintage items on Etsy ever
