Founded in 1964, Baker Places is a nonprofit corporation providing an array of community-based services to the residents of San Francisco with mental health, substance abuse HIV and AIDS related issues. The agency provides acute residential, transitional residential and supported community living services. Its acute residential program includes Grove Street House, Westside Lodge, 4th Avenue House, Fremont Place and the 7th Street program. Its transitional residential programs include Baker Street House, Robertson Place, Acceptance Place and Ferguson Place. BP s supported community living services include the Assisted Independent Living Program, Baker Supported Living Program, integrated services network consortium, the Odyssey House site, Baker Places vocational rehabilitation services and the Castro Country Club.
