History
I started my business over 10 years ago. One of the main reasons I got into bodywork was because of an injury I got in high school. I had a really bad frozen shoulder. It took a very experienced massage therapist to free my shoulder. That was after seeing many other heath care professionals. The experience I had back then and many others to come later is what led to my love of massage therapy. I have lived most of my life in Santa Barbara, California. I have a 12 year old son that is with me half the week. I am also going to school to become a nurse, so I can do nursing as well as massage therapy. I love it here and try to enjoy each and every day I have here. I bring that positive energy into my work. I feel blessed for every day I can continue to be a massage care provider.
Specialties
I specializes in bringing the body into balance by making sure the hip, shoulders, and neck are in alignment. I do this through combining sports, deep tissue, myofascial, rolfing, foot reflexology, and Swedish massage. I routinely work the iliopsoas and rotator cuff muscles. Most massage therapists do not ever work these muscle groups, but they are crucial to the body's alignment and general function.
