History
I have been practicing psychotherapy in San Francisco since 2006. My approach values a dynamic and holistic model of care, considering your healing from the perspective of the interconnectedness of mind and body. How do I work? It's difficult to describe, but here are the main ingredients: my personal dedication to mindfulness and spiritual practice, my knowledge of attachment theory, neuroscience and the development of the human personality, and a commitment to a very experiential therapeutic process. All that rests on a strong foundation in the humanistic values of unconditional warmth, genuineness, and empathy. I believe that the deep, down natural state of being is one of ease, warmth, openness, compassion and wisdom. These intrinsic qualities are obscured through our necessary adaption to the particular family we had and a culture that overall values production over sustainable living.
