HistoryI moved back to California from New Orleans in 1979. I worked for numerous contractors and property owners over the next decade. I became a general contractor in the summer of 1989. Over the next ten years I went through what many young contractors go through. I had very happy clients and a very empty checking account. I had several years where I worked solely under my license and years where I worked as an employee as well as self employed. In 1998, at the urging of my lovely wife, I started the company that became House to Home Remodeling. I computerized my record keeping (again my brilliant spouse). During the boom years we boomed. I think even when it was impossible not to find more business, my customer's problems were a joy for me to solve. We have a stable of the most amazing clients.
