A quaint coffee shop located on Old Town's main drag, Grant Avenue, Dr. Insomniac's — previously known as Dr. Insomnia's — has been serving up coffee and tea since 1994. It still retains that hometown feel out of a classic red barnlike building at the corner of Grant and Reichert. The charismatic baristas are always ready with freshly brewed coffee, tea and baked goods and customers can often be seen drinking their coffee outside on the charming patio. It has a quiet area in the back tbat fewer people know about. The motto at Dr. Insomnia's? "Caffeinate and dominate."
