I earned a degree in Fine Art & Art History from San Diego State University, and spent about 10 years in the art auction business, where I was the founding Director of the American Indian and Tribal Arts Department for Sotheby's, Los Angeles, and also for Butterfield & Butterfield, San Francisco.
