The American River Touring Association, also known as ARTA, is a nonprofit organization that offers a range of guided river trips. It organizes family vacations on the Rogue, Main Salmon, Middle Fork Salmon and Green rivers. The organization also provides wild adventure trips on the Selway and Tuolumne rivers. The American River Touring Association offers corporate team building outings and group, guide training and special interest trips. Its itineraries include water fights, rock skipping lessons, wildlife viewing and other activities. The organization is registered with the State of California. Founded in 1963, the American River Touring Association is a recreation service partner of the Bureau of Land Management, US Forest Service and National Park Service.
