At the very back of the Sonoma Industrial Park, this large canvas-products studio is hidden among boats, trees, and other industrial spaces. A sign on the front door directs customers around to the back.
Jason Weaver, a Sonoma native, has owned the shop since 1998. He works with a small team of craftsmen. Its speciality is making custom boat covers, boat interiors, and awnings, but it will "make anything," according to Weaver. Some of its more interesting projects have been a cover for a 120 foot feadship owned by the Raleys of Raley's grocery stores, as well as custom wine bags and salesman bags, and coverings for geodesic domes.
