The Aliso & Wood Canyons Wilderness Park boasts 30 miles of wilderness trails, two streams flowing year round, oak and sycamore trees - all within 3,900 acres of open land. This park is considered a wildlife sanctuary as there are rare and endangered plants and animals that reside here. There are biking and equestrian trails, family picnic area, hiking, and a visitor center. Check the website often for special events and activities within the park such as Fitness Hikes, Baby and Me Hikes, and educational walks led by the Park Ranger. Currently the park is part of OC Parks.
