A respected member of the Alameda Chamber of Commerce, the Alameda Council Boy Scouts of America carries on a nearly 100-year tradition of scouting and leadership in the United States. In Alameda, the Boys Scouts of America boast 450 unpaid adult volunteers and thousands of youth involved in a variety of ways (from Cub Scouting to Varsity Scouting).
