Acorn Learning Center was established in 1987 to provide licensed childcare and preschool for children and their families.
Open Monday through Friday, the center endeavors to "foster in children the sense of joy and wonder that is an essential part of early childhood years." To this end, it connects with students' families through sharing lesson plans, a school newsletter and parent-teacher conferences.
The center offers kindergarten, junior kindergarten, preschool and before- and after-school extended care for children in elementary school.
