July, 2012 In July of 2012, Central Baptist Church in Jonesboro, Arkansas called Jamar Andrews to start and pastor their newest campus. January 6, 2013 On January 6, 2013, Word Campus was launched in the Family Life Center of Central Baptist Church. March 24, 2013 Shortly after being launched, Word Campus moved to a facility located in North Jonesboro. January 1, 2017 After four years of ministry functioning as a Campus of Central Baptist Church on the North side of Jonesboro, Word Campus transitioned to become a church plant of Central Baptist. On January 1, 2017 Word Campus became Word Baptist Church.
