Founded in 1992, Vector Disease Control provides mosquito surveillance and control programs in various states, including Alabama, Arkansas, California, Florida, Idaho, Louisiana, Mississippi, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania and Wyoming. It uses insecticides approved by the Environmental Protection Agency for the control of larval and adult mosquitoes. Vector Disease Control operates one of the largest, privately owned fleets of full-time mosquito control aircraft in the United States. It also operates a fleet of more than 100 trucks and all-terrain vehicles equipped with ultra low-voltage machines. Vector Disease Control assists in the development of world net visions public education campaigns to promote mosquito control.
