In the year 2000, J L Tillett returned to Searcy, Arkansas to help Luke & Wanda Tillett (dad & mom) expand their store, Tillett's Paint & Wallpaper. In 2011, Luke & Wanda retired, and closed the doors. J L Tillett is continuing in those footsteps with Tillett's Stroke of Art, which consists of two of the major departments of the former store; Art Supplies and Custom Window Coverings. The new location, is much more convenient for students, being located on the north side of Harding University's campus. Tillett's Stroke of Art is looking forward to many years of serving White County and the surrounding area.
Specialties
From Paints to Projectors, we have what your imagination needs to create. Special orders and bulk orders are welcome, and we build custom canvases to the size you need. Tillett's also specializes in Custom Shutters & Blinds! Wood & Faux Wood are available, and we can do specialty shapes as well as doors. We are located in Searcy, Arkansas on East Race Avenue on the North side of the Harding University campus. Walking distance for HU students and faculty, and centrally located for ASU campuses in Searcy, Beebe, and Heber Springs. We gladly offer Teacher, Student and Member discounts with your school ID or the Tillett's Stroke of Art Discount Card. We are currently open Monday thru Friday from 8:30am to 5:30pm.
