5/1/2006 The new Lodge at Mount Magazine State Park officially opened. Mount Magazine State Park's 60-room mountain lodge and 13 cabins carry forward the lodging tradition that has been part of the recreational legacy of Mount Magazine since 1900. Gracing the mountain's south bluff, these first-class facilities offer sweeping views of the Petit Jean River Valley and distant Blue Mountain Lake below. Here at Mount Magazine, every guest room and cabin offers a view overlooking the valley. Forty-three guest rooms also offer a private balcony.
