SEEMS was created with the intention of being a self-supporting entity, serving the city of Monticello and Drew County Arkansas.SEEMS does not receive any public funds or subsidies from the areas in which it serves. SEEMS is governend by the Emergency Medical Services Commission and its service areas include Monticello and Drew County. Southeast Emergency Medical Services consists of four paramedic ambulances and one basic ambulance. All are equipped with state-of-the-art emergency medical equipment. The entire fleet is maintained by a maintenance certified mechanic. A life threatening emergency is a person ( s ) who is unconscious, not breathing, has uncontrolled bleeding, is experiencing chest pain lasting two ( 2 ) minutes or more, or is having an altered mental status due to uncontrolled diabetic complications.
