Deltic Timber Corporation is a natural resources company engaged in the ownership and management of timberland. Established in 1952 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Murphy Corporation, Deltic was reincorporated in 1996 when Murphy declared a stock dividend to spin off the company. The company s timberland encompasses more than 436,000 acres, located primarily in Arkansas and Louisiana. It operates two sawmills, one each in Ola and Waldo, Ark., and is focused on real estate development in Little Rock and Hot Springs, Ark. Deltic s products include pine sawtimber, boards, timbers, decking and lumber in a variety of dimensions. Deltic Timber is publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol DEL and is headquartered in El Dorado, Ark.
