History
The Humane Society of the Ozarks was founded in 1944 by concerned citizens of Fayetteville, AR to advocate for the humane treatment of abandoned animals. We have been a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization in good standing since 1969 and continue to advocate and work towards humane treatment of animals in Northwest Arkansas.
Specialties
We advocate for the welfare of animals in NWA. Our programs include low cost spay & neuter vouchers, low income emergency veterinary care vouchers, educational offerings on responsible pet ownership and animal cruelty, senior citizen pet care and companion animal rescue and adoption.
