Established in 1908, Fayetteville High School enrolls more than 1,600 students. The school teaches various subjects, including business studies, foreign languages, English, humanities, health education, mathematics, technology information, television production, science, social studies, fine arts and physical education. It has a fully equipped library and media center that offers various student research links and resources. The school offers various sports programs, such as baseball, basketball, bowling, cross country, football, golf, soccer, softball, tennis, volleyball and wrestling.
