Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium is a stadium located in Fayetteville, Arkansas on the campus of the University of Arkansas. Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium currently houses the NCAA team the Arkansas Razorbacks. The stadium opened as University Stadium on September 24, 1938 with the construction taking just over a year at a cost of just over $350,000, $2.8 million in present day dollars. The latest renovation was in 2001, which added over 22,000 seats.
The Arkansas Razorbacks are members of the Southeastern Conference of the within National Collegiate Athletic Association. They are known by their team colors consisting of red and white. Their mascot is Tusk IV. Past players include Dan Hampton, Steve Atwater and Clyde Van Sickle.
The stadium currently holds 72,000 fans. Currently, it is the 24th largest stadium in the NCAA. The record fan attendance of 76,808 occurred on September 25, 2010 against Alabama Crimson Tide.
