Our mission is to provided a place to begin and maintain a life of balance and well being. A place for people to come to relax, rejuvenate, and renew. To build strength and flexibility and reduce the effects of stress in peoples lives. To provide a welcoming, open hearted place for everyone to find a form of exercise that works for them! The primary goal of the Arkansas Yoga Center is to cultivate a community of individuals interested in physical and spiritual wellbeing, mutual support, personal growth, deep and meaningful connection with others and their mind-body practice. We welcome students at all levels in their practice, from complete beginners to those with a developed practice to those aspiring to become teachers, and seek to provide guidance and encouragement and community at all of these stages. All bodies and dispositions are warmly welcomed.
Specialties
We have over 2 dozen classes per week at AYC to help reduce stress and create a sense of calm and relaxation. AYC is the premier space for Flow Yoga, Yin Yoga, Gentle Yoga, T'ai Chi, Yoga Nidra with sound therapy, Kundalini and Meditation in the state of Arkansas. An amazing space, transform at your pace! Exceptional, certified teachers with over 200 hours of training in the VariYoga style -- created by Andrea Fournet and Bryan Fowler -- are influenced by the Hatha yoga styles of Iyengar, Anusara, Ashtanga, Kundalini, Viniyoga, as well as Thai Yoga Therapy. The VariYoga style will help YOU to reset your system.
