The Arkansas Municipal League, located in North Little Rock, Ark., is a voluntary group of Arkansas cities and towns, and was founded in 1934. It is a voluntary and nonpartisan organization. It has more than 450 cities and towns members. It serves the members in a variety of ways, through legislative advocacy, optional benefits programs, training and educational opportunities and multiple publications. It provides a forum through which its officials assist in solving the problems of the state and federal. Its staff, under the direction of the executive director, has the responsibility of implementing the goals and objectives as defined by the organization. The Arkansas Municipal League provides its assistance services in a wide range of areas that include fund collection, technical, housing and education.
