Dawson Education Cooperative is a service organization that acts as a direct liaison between school districts and the Arkansas Department of Education s Office. It provides education enrichment and gifted and talented education programs. The organization features a media center that provides over 6,000 educational video programs and united streaming videos to teachers. Dawson Education Cooperative also organizes enrichment programs and quiz bowl and chess tournaments for students in kindergarten through grade 12. Its members include the Bauxite School District, Fountain Lake School District, Hot Springs School District, Magnet Cove School District and Mountain Pine School District. In addition, the organization provides the English as a Second Language program. Dawson Education Cooperative is located in Arkadelphia, Ark.
