The White River Area Agency on Aging provides eldercare services to seniors aged 60 and above in 10 counties in north central Arkansas. The agency provides services to senior citizens of all income levels. Its staff of trained care managers, registered nurses and home care assistants work to meet the individual needs of each client. The White River Area Agency on Aging is a nonprofit organization that coordinates aging resources; maintains a network of senior centers and Meals-On-Wheels programs; and extends knowledge of senior citizens rights, Medicare, Social Security and other aging resources.
