The Yuma County Water Users Association is a private nonprofit corporation that has been formed under the laws of the Territory of Arizona for the development and funding of the Valley Division of the Yuma Project. It serves landowners who own more than 45,000 acres of farmland producing over 80,000 crop acres annually. The association also delivers nearly 95 percent of the City of Yuma's water supply. Founded in 1903, the Yuma County Water Users Association maintains one of its locations in Somerton, Ariz.
