Vantage Mobility International builds wheelchair accessible vans and scooter lifts and offers a variety of platform and stowage lifts with designs to fit nearly every vehicle from passenger vans to SUVs. Customers have the choice of van conversions based on the most popular and successful vans built today, the Ford Freestar, Ford Econoline and Chrysler Dodge minivans. As a pioneer in the mobility industry, Vantage Mobility s history dates back to the late 1970's, when the original founders were challenged to build a suitable accessible vehicle for a close family friend. In 1984, an automotive engineer in Phoenix, Ariz., suggested the company apply their lowered-floor technology to the new front-wheel drive Chrysler mini van. Vantage introduced the first conversion based on the Chrysler mini van with great success and in 1987 incorporated as Vantage Mini Vans, later to be renamed Vantage Mobility International. The company has more than 700 van and lift dealers across North America and Europe.
