Established in 1979, United Food & Commercial Workers International Union is a neighborhood union of young workers in North America. Based in Tucson, Ariz., it serves approximately 1.3 million members comprising workers, families and communities. The community workers cater to a variety of industry segments, such as retail clerks, meat cutters, foot wear/leather workers, poultry, food processing, retail stores and barbers/beauticians. It offers a variety of food products in the categories of meat, beverages, condiments, snacks, shoes, household products, pet supplies, clothing, dairy, garden accessories and miscellaneous. United Food and Commercial Workers International Union participates in the community affairs for better working condition, fair wages and protection of working families.
