History
Sunset Landscaping & Designs, Inc. was started in 1980 by Dennis C. Canedy. Dennis's background in Landscape Architecture established the Design portion of the company. The company grew over to years to 100 employees. In 2005 we added pool installation to our expanding areas of expertise.Today Sunset employs 25 and maintains a design staff and installation crews to handle any landscape install need.

Sunset is a landscape design build company that has been doing business in the valley for over 32 years (1980). The company specializes in custom homes and remodels in the valley, primarily in Phoenix, Paradise Valley, Scottsdale and Rio Verde. Sunset prides itself on the quality of design work and the expertise in both landscape installation and pool construction. We are licensed to build landscapes, install irrigation and all forms of masonry work. We carry a Residential Engineering license that along with being able to build pools gives us the ability to build ramadas, retaining walls, gas installations and electrical. Sunset has been a member of the Arizona Landscape Contractors Association for over 25 years and served on the board of directors for 8 years. The company has won over 30 awards for design and installation excellence. They were voted Contractor of the Year in 2006. We do offer a multitude of services but we have not offered landscape maintenance as one of them.
