Southwest Behavioral Health Services, also known as SBH, is a nonprofit behavioral health provider organization that was established in 1969 and is located in Phoenix. SBH is governed by a board of directors and serves Phoenix metropolitan area, rural western Maricopa County, northern Gila County and Pinal County in Arizona. It offers a wide variety of services, including treatment of co-occurring disorders, prevention services and recovery model for individuals with serious mental illness. SBH is also known as a nationally certified trainer for the FAST prevention program. It offers various programs, such as the crisis recovery units and residential services for persons with serious mental illness, children, incarcerated persons and dually diagnosed adults. Southwest Behavioral Health Services is approved by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities and has office in Mesa, Chandler, Payson, Scottsdale and Tempe, Ariz.
