Established in 1996, Southern Arizona Children's Advocacy Center is a child abuse treatment center. Based in Tucson, Ariz., it investigates matters of child physical abuse, sexual assault and neglect reports. Offering medical attention and support to the child, more than 1000 children come to the center each year from southern Arizona. The clinical services include forensic interviews, medical evaluation and advocacy support to the families. Southern Arizona Children's Advocacy Center offers outreach educational service programs, such as Prevention Program for Children and Training on Mandated Reporting of Child Abuse. Its programs are designed for children in schools, church settings, daycare centers and youth seminars.
