Established in 1973, the Southern Arizona Center Against Sexual Assault provides services for the victims and survivors of sexual assault, as well as their families. Located in Tucson, Ariz., the center offers mental health, medical forensic examination, evidence collection and community educational services. It also provides 24-hour crisis intervention, information and referral services. The center offers sexual assault resource, follow-up support and advocacy services. It conducts sexual violence advocacy training sessions. The Southern Arizona Center Against Sexual Assault supports a community prevention education and outreach program that offers training for youths, professionals and the general public on issues related to sexual violence. In addition, the center provides volunteer services.
