History
After traveling the world taking a deep interest in sacred sites, I spent (and continue to spend) a great deal of time in Indian country in North America. I decided to share my love of sacred sites, indigenous traditions and natural/cultural history with others through Sedona Sacred Earth tours. I also worked for 10 years as a backcountry jeep tour guide in Sedona and have studied the botany, plant medicines and deep wildernesss environments of the area. This is all sewed together by my love of myth, cosmology and poetry. I attended Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado (B.A. Writing/ poetics), Nothern Arizona Univesity in Flagstaff, AZ (M.A. English/Creative writing) and finished with my doctoral studies at the University of Hawaii (Ph.D. English/ creative writing). The alchemy of language and intentionalized experience in nature and at sacred sites is my life study and I love to help people connect with this profound land.
