Pueblo Magnet High School, established in 1956, offers education to students in grades nine through 12. It is affiliated with the Tucson Unified School District and has an enrollment of more than 1,900 students. The school s curriculum includes English, mathematics, science, social and business studies, health education, fine arts, consumer science, foreign languages and computers. It provides a variety of extracurricular activities to students, such as yearbook, marching and jazz band, choir, debate and declamation contests, music and physical education. The sports activities offered by the school include golf, cross country, basketball, tennis, track, athletics, wrestling, volleyball, baseball and gymnastics. The school has a library and media center that offers Internet access, books, magazines, research articles and journals to students. It also provides additional services to students, such as career counseling, crisis intervention, support groups, peer medication, and health and food services.
