Phoenix Zoo is a privately owned, nonprofit zoological park on more than 120-acres of land, and is located in Phoenix. Founded in 1962, it includes more than 2.5 miles of walking trails divided into four different trails, and requires over three hours to see the entire zoo. It includes more than 1,200 animals on exhibit, including its collections of mammals, fish, invertebrates, birds and reptiles, representing more than 200 species. Phoenix Zoo includes various exhibits, such as African lion, Arabian oryx, Asian elephant, Bornean orangutan, cheetah, Chilean flamingo, Galapagos tortoise, jaguar, Mexican gray wolf, giraffe, Rothschild's mynah, spotted necked otter, Sumatran tiger and white rhinoceros.
