History
Pappoule's was established in March 1982 by John and Angeline Cotsones who moved to Tucson from their native Chicago in 1977. Pappoule's has served authentic Greek food to thousands of guests in Arizona. The first store was located at the Tucson Mall food court, and remains the only original family owned and operated successful food court tenant in the mall since its inception. John and Angie's son Michael and his wife, Bea, moved to Tucson in 1981 and assumed the operations. Since their arrival they opened several more locations in Tucson, Sierra Vista and Mesa. They now have three locations in Tucson, the original Tucson Mall location, the Park Place location and the fast casual dine-in restaurant at the Foothills Mall. This popular location has a large dining room, serves beer and wine, has big screen televisions and outside patio seating with beautiful views of the Santa Catalina Mountains.
