Originally from Seattle, WA, Katy Kimes, DO is a board-certified fellowship trained infectious disease physician, specializing in Coccidioidomycosis, Nocardia, blood stream infections, endocarditis and prosthetic joint infections. Dr. Kimes on her approach to care, “I believe in a partnership to decision making. It's my job to educate patients on available testing, treatments, and the current state of scientific knowledge so that we can make a treatment plan that best suits each individual's situation." Outside of medicine Dr. Kimes enjoys spending time outdoors hiking and camping with her two dogs, particularly in Northern Arizona and the Pacific Northwest. Dr. Kimes also enjoys playing guitar and going to concerts.
