Launched in 1996 as Career Oriented Resumes by Amanda Miller, the company ran on autopilot until 2006, when Amanda turned a previous hobby into a full-time endeavor with the birth of her son. The Grammar Doctor was born. In 2008, due to growing needs and a goal to add team members, The Grammar Doctor grew to become The Grammar Doctors, LLC. In addition to proofreading, editing, and resume writing, services expanded to include social media management, corporate communications, and content marketing. In 2017, Amanda determined the company needed a new brand identity to better convey what she was really offering. She then rebranded as Ink & Quill Communications, LLC.
