History
Just after WWII five martial artists in Honolulu, Hawaii gathered to blend their different skills and experiences into what we know today as Kajukenbo. The KA stands for Karate. The JU stands for Judo and Jujitsu. KEN stands for Kenpo. And the BO stands for Chinese and Western Boxing. Our family is from Maui, where we trained Kajukenbo under Sigung Trent Sera. We moved to Peoria five years ago and began sharing Kajukenbo out of our garage. Today we train at the address above.
