Eatablished in 1969, Fountain Hills Sanitary District is a governmental entity separate from the Town of Fountain Hills and regulated by the State of Arizona Title 48. The district s sole function is to collect and treat sewage and dispose of the by-products. It operates more than 200-miles of sewer lines and18 pump stations and treats an average of 2 million gallons of sewage per day. Is headquartered in Fountain Hills, Ariz.
