History
Explorers' Emporium comes from a long journey of exploration. It has its start back in 1989 as an animal rescue and care organization. Through its popularity it evolved into a children's museum (1995-2004). The museum focused on science, nature and ecology. Thousands of visitors enjoyed a wonderful hands-on educational program teaming with live animals, dinosaur bones, science experiments, workshops and more! Countless computers were donated to schools and some truly wonderful relationships were built including with local Native American organizations. In 2004 that program became Woodland Ways and in 2015 it expanded into new markets, becoming Explorers' Emporium. We appreciate your visits to Explorers' Emporium. Please take advantage of our workshops, gaming events, and educational programs. We're all thankful for all the support we have received over the years. We're proud that we can provide such wonderful community services and programs. Thank you for the opportunity!
