Founded in 1925, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University specializes in teaching science, practice and business related to aviation and aerospace industry. Based in Davis Monthan, Ariz., the university engages in research and consultation that addresses the needs of aviation, aerospace and related industries. Its curriculum covers the operation, engineering, research, manufacturing, marketing and management of modern aircraft and the systems that support them.
